Tales from Nab

We are very excited to be working with poet and broadcaster Ian McMillan and composer Luke Carver Goss on a project which uses the old to invent the new - taking memories and imagination and creating a collection of new and exciting songs about and for Holmfirth. Ian is an expert at getting the very best out of children and inspiring their creative talent.  Working alongside members of Sharing Memories, pupils from Holmfirth Junior and Infant School have been composing new songs including 'The magical, mystical Holmfirth tree' and the tragic tale of Winston Happened and how he fell off a ledge and ate poisoned berries.  All will be revealed in December in a special assembly for Year 6 children and their families!
